How-To Sub-Article
Yard sign copy template (readable in 3 seconds)
Neighbors do not read paragraphs on signs. They scan. This template helps your sign be readable and useful.
1) The 3-second rule
Your sign should answer in 3 seconds:
- Who is it?
- What do they do?
- How do I contact them?
2) Copy templates (good vs bad)
Good template:
[Business Name]
{One job phrase}
Call/Text: {Phone}
Bad template:
“Quality service for all your needs!” (too vague)
3) Phone vs URL vs QR (simple)
For local services, phone usually wins.
- Phone: fastest
- URL: good if short and readable
- QR: optional, not required
4) Proof lines (safe)
If you have a real proof line, keep it short:
- “Local and insured” (only if true)
- “Rated 4.9” (only if true)
