Trade Shorts templates (YouTube Shorts)
Shorts work when you keep it real. These templates give you a rotation that builds trust without acting or hype.
1) Tone rules
- Calm
- Helpful
- Short
- Specific
Most “cringe” comes from trying too hard. Be normal.
2) Five templates (copy/paste)
- Proof: “Before/after from today in Edmond. If your [problem] looks like this, call/text.”
- Tip: “Quick tip: if you see [sign], do [safe step]. If it keeps happening, call a pro.”
- Process: “What happens when you call us: 1) quick questions 2) schedule 3) options 4) done.”
- FAQ: “Common question: [question]. Short answer: [answer].”
- Offer: “Scheduling [service] next week in Edmond. Call/text for availability.”
3) Shot list (what to film)
- Before shot
- During shot (one quick clip)
- After shot
- Tool/equipment clip (optional)
- Clean result close-up
4) Caption hooks (short)
- “If your [thing] looks like this…”
- “Quick tip for homeowners…”
- “This is what we fixed today…”
5) Posting cadence
Start with one Short per week. If you can do two, great. Consistency matters more than volume.
